Always love listening to these podcasts. The bible says that there where also many things that Jesus did and said that where never recorded. What about all the lost books out there and scriptures and incidents of Christ that where lost? Anyway I agree totally about the political views and I always thought the same way. It is important to remember this. We should continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God experiences a relationship with God. God is love. If we love each other God dwells deeply within us. The person who does not love does not know the first thing about God because God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. I believe that its the fear that is installed in so many religious circles that is most damaging. I also believe there may be mistakes in the bible and I really believe that your book the Misunderstood God really corrected some of those mistakes. I love you.

I also really like what you said about community and relationship. I really love the Bible and I have found so many wonderful treasures in scripture especially the Old Testament that are beautiful beyond compare. However if I just had one scripture which is the most important request of God in the Bible, everything else would fall into place. That is Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, strength and all that is within you and love people with all your heart. You may not like the wording but to fall head over heals in love with God, to choose to love him with every fiber of your being and be totally in love with people. Love your neighbor as yourself. This is all the law and the prophets. The rest of the religious requirements fall under grace. But I also believe we have to remember the scripture that says his grace is sufficient for us and lean on that because human effort accomplishes nothing. When Jesus said it was finished we learn to rest in his finished work and enjoy life.
