Dearest Darin and Aimee and Amy and Robert, I don’t leave many comments b/c I feel that I don’t have these deep comments as others do. But I want you to know that you have changed my live forever. I can’t thank you enough for these podcasts and Darin’s blogs. I have not missed one in the past couple of years. I love you very much and I feel that I have known you all my life!!!

Darin I swear we lived a parallel life. I also would go to the conferences, Hinn, Murillo, Bevere, and ended up at Marylyn Hickey’s church in Denver. Hoping to catch that same zeal and feeling I experienced as a new believer. There were always a lot of promises made and stories told. And Aimee, you nailed it when you talked about the anxiety that comes when you follow after these things and live out of the OLD Testament.

Now I live out of knowing he is with me, not scanning and looking for a feeling. I think God shows up to us in a big way when we first come to him, but that is to let us Know He is with us and will never leave, He knows we can't sustain that zeal or feeling. And those who say you can or that they do are liars.

Wonderful Podcast, you guys nailed it. Just like Technicolor above I have listened to them all. You guys are doing a wonderful work for people that have swallowed some destructive beliefs. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. And Merry Christmas to you guys.

Technicolor - your comment truly means a lot...thank you for taking the time to post your heart to us :-) You know what, we hear that from time to time from people - that they don't have anything 'deep' to post...I know that statement was not the point of your post, but I still want to say that I personally could care LESS how 'deep' someone's post is...please don't let that intimidate you from posting...simple words and heart are all that matter, really. Your comment is golden....thank you.

Doug, thank you so so much for your comment and your words! Trying to chase that 'feeling' as you stated, is a torrential and tormenting place to live. God is with you one day, and the next day he is mad at you, etc. I think he wants us to know that no matter how we 'feel', our feet are on the ground and He hasn't and won't leave...not easy to swallow with the things we assumed about him back in the day...He is teaching me every day, and has to constantly tell me that he won't leave. I lived in 'abandonment mode' for SO many years, that it must be repeated to me that I am ok and that he is there.

Thank you Aimee. I particularly relate to your experiences b/c, during the 3+ years that I was involved with TBN 5 days a week - 9 hours a day plus Sundays, I became severely sick with fear and many times thought I was going to lose my mind. This is something that only people that have suffered it can understand!

Bottom line: Into the Wild is the best podcast show I've ever heard! It's amazing how the journey to finding the Free Believers Network took place. In 2006, our church, in which I've been raised all my life, underwent a devastating split in which half the members left. When that happened, something like scales fell from my eyes and I saw church people as they really were. Anyway, to make a long story, I came upon The Shack, which lead me to the God Journey with Wayne Jacobsen, which lead you to the Free Believers Network. And I'm telling you, your podcasts are a Godsend. I cannot tell you how many times I've laughed and cried and nodded my head vigorously while I listened to your podcasts. They have been instrumental in opening my eyes to the simple yet powerful reality that GOD IS LOVE. Thank you and to Darin and Aimee, I say to you: NEVER. GIVE. UP.

This conversation really touched my heart. When you talked about when someone hurts you and the self righteous people come and basically say it's your fault and blame you for the pain, I burst into tears and cried with relief. I love you both so much for your openness and honesty. Thanks!!!!

I've said this before and I just have to say it again. You guys are forerunners. I believe God is bringing you through before many, and He has given you this platform to help MANY realize they are not alone in their experience and understanding. You are all real, raw, and vulnerable. That's what is so refreshing. We did not see this in leaders for so long and in most places still don't. The walls between "clergy" and "laity" must come down in order for the big "C" Church to become all that is intended. You guys are part of this shift. I want to agree wholeheartedly with Stephen M: NEVER GIVE UP. With blessings.....

I stumbled onto your podcasts when I was listening to "Growing in Grace" and they mentioned your name so I went searching. Thank goodness I did. I can't believe how quickly I listened to so many podcasts. Aimee, I relate so well to what I know of your life through these podcasts, and what we have come from. Thank you so much guys, I have lived in so much bondage in my Christian years and have found myself air punching and praising God at just how freeing some of your words are. Darin, you are freakin hilarious. Your bit about Halloween was comedy gold. I even read part of your book out to fellow teachers for my staff devotion one morning. Keep up the great work and podcasts and have have a great Christmas. Darin, is your radical teachings series stuff from your life as a free believer? You guys have cut so many chains from my life. Thanks - from Australia.

I enjoy you guys spending 10 minutes saying wacky things. It's like a filter for those who are really seeking. The really hungry ones will endure the silliness to get those nuggets of truth. =)

Technicolor, Doug, Stephen, Miriam, Valerie, Craig and Phil...thank you so so much for your love and encouragement. I concur with Darin...thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives and connecting with us from 100's...even 1000's of miles (or kilometers for some of you...ha ha)away.

Endure the 10 minutes of silliness, I thrive on it! "Was she hot?" hahahahahaha I agree Phil, the 10 minutes at the start are awesome. I get set free and entertained in the same podcast! I heard Darin say how he had wanted to be a stand up comedian, and the awesome thing is is that is part of what he is doing now in a round about sort of way.

Merry Christmas and many blessings in the new year and always to you!!!
